Hello!

Hi and welcome to my new blog, Dixie Doodles: The Life of a Dixie Doodler! What exactly is a "dixie doodler"? Glad you asked! My dictionary informs me that a "dixie doodler" is (and I quote) "...one who lives in the south and doodles almost constantly (while talking on the phone, on random pieces of paper laying around, etc.) Beware: never take away their pencils and paper or you will have them searching frantically for more!"
Okay, I made that definition up...and actually, I'm not that bad about doodling! It does make for a kinda cute blog title though, don't you think? :OD
Anyway, welcome to my blog! Here I will post my thoughts, my projects, perhaps some artwork and doodles, and anything else that I find "blogworthy". ;)

Here's a caricature that I did of myself...just what you want to see, right? :)
Well, I guess I'll close for now!
Again, welcome!

I could've been a dixie doodler myself, had I stayed in the South and doodled more. :P Now I'm a Northern Nut, sketching out horrendous things in my math book. :P I can't wait to read your blog!! And your caricature is lovely, though you, I think, are much more so. LOL

Hello Dear Elizabeth.....

Like I said to your sister..... welcome to blogland. What a cleaver idea the the casserole carrier is, so pretty too and what a great tutorial. My! what talented twins you are!

So you’ve met a Queen.... lucky you! I haven’t ‘met’ our Queen, but I did see her in person once when she drove through the village where I lived as a child..... it was so exciting, crowds stood on the footpath, waving flags and cheering as she drove by in her beautiful black limousine. What struck me most.... well, I was surprised to see how small she was, even sitting down, she looked tiny.

Looking forward to meeting you all, not long now! Bestest wishes - Marion
